Hi everyone,
I can't believe how quickly time rushes by these days. In a blink of an eye another coffee morning has come and gone !
Thank you so much all those who attended the crammed packed morning on the 19th Nov. at my house on the Country Club. It was great to see you again and a pleasure to meet some new faces. Gillian had us all drooling when she arrived with trays full of mince pies, truffles and eclairs for us to sample! Baked by her other half no less! Viv generously treated anyone who wanted a nail manicure and polish, no shortage of volounteers there! Cath, another newbie bought along her lovely Virgin Vie products for us to sample and Sue put on a display of beautiful glass sun catchers (the perfect Christmas gift) Thank you everyone who contributed a prize towards the raffle it really is appreciated. At the moment this is just a little bit of freebie fun until the decision is made whether to start raising funds for a charity. We shall let you know as soon as we have decided.
Also at the coffee mornings (Mazarron Country Club only) we have second hand books for sale all priced at 50 cents the money raised going to the very worthy Noahs Arc. (Animal Rescue Center). Thanks go to those of you who have kindly donated books.
I must just mention that our coffee mornings have changed from the regular Tuesday slot to Wednesdays. This is because quite a number of ladies have commitments on Tuesday mornings and can't get to the meets until later in the morning. Gill and myself hope that the new day will suit everyone better.
I really hope to see you all again at the next coffee morning which is on Wednesday 10th December at Gill's house Camposol. 10.30 am
Finally I would like to thank you all for your support. It is a lovely way to meet up with old friends and to make new ones. If you would like to join us but don't know where we are, please email for details you will be very warmly welcomed.
